Moving Past the 'Women's Leadership' Conversation
Any time there is a descriptor in front of a noun, it implies it is somehow deviant from the norm. "Women's" leadership has a connotation that it is something other than leadership. To some, this may communicate lesser than, or only applicable for other women (which is dangerous).
The reality is, women are capable, effective and influential leaders on the same playing field as men. Hopefully our culture's conversation will catch on soon.
