I'm of the mindset that the more we know, the better we can be. But there are some things that can weigh us down once we become aware of them.

Understanding the biases and barriers that affect women at work (and in the world at large) can lead to frustration and apathy in some women. It can feel like the pressures and walls are too big to overcome.

In this episode we walk through a few of the most common biases against women BUT also focus on how you can overcome them!

So if a woman is able to get to a higher leadership position in a company, then she must be very capable and she must have overcome a lot of difficulties to get there. Then she is probably seen as a stronger leader than the men that have also reached that goal with perceivably fewer barriers or fewer difficulties.
